The IAHR Work
Group on "Cavitation and Dynamic Problems in Hydraulic Machinery and
Systems" has been established at the 24nd IAHR Symposium on Hydraulic
Machinery and Systems, Stockholm, 2004., by merging the three previous
working groups within the IAHR Division II - Section 1: Hydraulic
Machinery and Systems. The following topics will be addressed:
Analysis of
pumps, turbines and pump-turbines
Cavitation in
hydraulic systems and erosion
Environmental
considerations in design and operation of hydraulic systems
Experimental
investigations of cavitating flows
Flow-structure
interaction
Hydraulic
oscillations and flow-induced vibrations
Hydraulic
transients and control systems
Incidents in
hydraulic systems and troubleshooting
Monitoring and
predictive maintenance
Numerical
simulation in hydrodynamics and cavit

Papers dealing with any topic
included in the above list are invited to the Conference Abstracts
containing 500-800 words highlighting the contributors will considered
as follows:
1) 2011-January-31 - Abstract Due
2) 2011-February-28 - Acceptance of Abstract
3) 2011-May- 31 - Final Manuscript Due
4) 2011-June-30 - Notification of Final Acceptance
